Ha! I hear you there, Tracy! We always have to lock the chickens up early if we plan to eat in the back yard or around the campfire. Those hens beg worse than any dog I've ever met! Cute picture! Its like your dog is saying "What am I supposed to do about all these chickens??"

You do have a lot to feed there. Mine usually jump up on the table without being asked. Cute picture and the dog is adorable!

Mine are my goats - the moment they hear the door open I have 80 folks talking to me. Hard to get to eat if everyone is yelling at you... My chickens are now following me like shadows. They even followed me into the shop this morning chasing after a grass hopper - once they got them it was hard to get them to leave the yarn alone and get their feathery butts out of the shop.

What an adorable picture! Our back fence opens to our town's park, so we picnic there. But every critter gets tucked away when we have a bonfire.
The tears I shed then, watered the flowers I harvest now.

The chickens are terrible beggars! I couldn't quite get a good pic of all of them. Our dog's name is Benny and he is a sweet little dopey dog! I'm glad you got a chuckle from this!

Tracy: I loved your post!!!!!!! What a hoot. I try to eat outside, but I have to put my Luck Dog in the house to be able to eat. And- the four outside cats just sit and stare. The puppy is too, too, too cute. Marly
