It seems to me that its impossible to get the hair and stuff off the clothes! We wash in the washer and I pull things out to put them on the line and they are dotted with dog hair, my hair, chunks of leaves from the boys rolling around outside, etc. In the dryer, all that stuff would get sucked off into the lint thing. How in the world do you get it off when you line dry?

I just shake everything our really hard before hanging it and sometimes halfway through. Rosemary thinks the snapping of when you shake them is funny anyways, so it is cheap entertainment!

I usually put my towels in the dryer for about 5 minutes while I load the next load of things in the dryer. It helps to soften them and fluffs them up quite a bit. You might want to consider that if a dryer is an option.

I never thought about this! I keep begging my husband to put up a clothesline for me and I never thought about this! I want to line dry all my diapers. They're organic bamboo, and they seem to attract hair. Hmm.

Yeah, its kind of annoying, Megan! I do find that once everything dries you can snap the clothes quick and a lot of the stuff comes off, but it just annoys me to see my "clean" clothes hanging there drying, with hair and stuff hanging off of them!!

Our German Shedders are what keeps me using the dryer too, along with the fact that since I work full time, laundry gets done in the evenings which makes it hard to dry outside that way. For all of those things I hang up inside, they are usually items that I wear to work anyway, and don't get much hair on them.
