Good Morning Ladies, it is another beautiful day here in Colorado and I am counting days until I post partners, 15 more days. I know a lot of you are busy creating and having so much fun with the swap.
Let's Remember 4th of July,

It Is A Special Day
Our hearts are moved with emotion on this special day,
The courageous stories throw light for us on our way.
May this 4th of July be not just another day for us,
May it be a day that we remember all year round.
- poem by wishafriend.com

So lets continue to have fun.
Farmgirl Hugs,
Debbie

Well hey Winnie, Welcome to farmgirls. We are glad to have you and you will feel loved here.
My SIL and DD have a farm up in NC and SWEAR by their RED tractors..usually it's all green (JD) but they have red ones. Also, I see that you live "sorta" near me. I'm down just above Clearwater. Maybe we can meet half-way sometime. Anyway, You'll have great fun at the swaps. Hugs, Joey

Thank-you everyone for your sweet welcome emails!! I am so happy that I found a MJF magazine over 2 years ago at Tractor Supply and read it. Not sure why it took me so long to jump oi the bandwagon, but I am here now dressed in an apron and working on my first badges and swaps! By the way, I just made MJ recipe for Pemmican from her Ideabook and it is delicious and easy. And here is my new farmgirl effort today. I inherited my grandmother's coffee grinder which she also, I was told by my Mom, used to grind corn for her hens. I purchased an old 1930's gas stove a few years ago which I have in my kitchen for decoration. When I found the stove, I also went online and found a working red enamelware coffee percolator and it has just been sitting there looking cute. But MJF is changing my ideas so yesterday at the store if found decaf Sumatra Organic coffee beans. You have figured out the rest... ground those beans in grandma's grinder and learned to percolate coffe on the stove. Messed up the first batch, but figured out the second time and YES!!! Delicious!! I think I am on to something here girls!!1

Hi Winnie, I give you a lot of credit for grinding your own coffee and using a Percolater Coffee Pot, I am glad your second attempt was wonderful and your coffee tasted good.
You are going to love being a part of MJF and having so many farmgirl sisters.
Okay ladies only 12 more days until I post your swap partners, I will post them very early on the 30th, then we will wait for packages to arrive and pictures to be posted. I am just so excited I can not wait.
The picture is a view from a hill in front of our house, Pikes Peak is in the background and our flag just sets it all off, so I thought I would share the photos with all my farmgirl sisters.
Have a beautiful weekend 4th of July Swap Sisters.
FArmgirl Hugs,
Debbie

Debbie- Thank-you for your welcoming email and I must say that view from your window is postcard perfect!! In comparison, here in my area of north Florida we have been suffering from over two months of 90+ degrees every day, drought, and many wildfires. It is a sort of inferno living! Your view with the snow just looks so cool and wonderful to me. The sharing of ideas and photos is such a great perk of being with Farmgirls online! Looking forward to the swap and the sharing from everyone. It will feel like a sort of Christmas in July! Thanks again for organizing the effort and giving us all a fun summer project.
Enjoy that view for me!

This is a picture of one of the smoke jumpers that help fight a wildfire here a couple of weeks ago. Note his red, white and blue parachute. Thank you to all our firefighters across the United States, you are in our prayers.
