Hi Ladies~
There are 23 farmgirls who have signed up so I have an odd name, is there any other farmgirls out there who have not taken 2 partners that would like another? Or do any of you know of another farmgirl that wants to join. If not that is fine I will take 3 partners, I do not mind at all and it will be fun.

Oh I am so silly, I will just take one partner then everything comes out even. Duh!

Good Morning my Sweet Farmgirl 4th of July Patriotic Swap Partners. The day has finally arrived, swap partners have been posted on page 1 under my first thread. If I have left anyone out or if you can not longer do the swap please let me know immediately so I can take care of it.
Please contact your partner, trade addresses and when you think you will be able to send your packages. Let me know when you have contacted your partners.
Please remember to post or share pictures of your treasures when they arrive so your partner knows they were received.

I have heard from my partner, Red Tractor Girl and will send her package in the mail tomorrow. I have not yet heard from Danielle and so there is no hope that she will get her package by the holiday even if we are in the same state. Sorry about that. Good Morning Farmgirls, I hope by now that everyone has contacted each other with addresses. Let's give everyone until Sunday to contact one another, if you do not hear from your partner by then let me know. Remembering it is a holiday and a lot of families travel.
M (batznthebelfry) your 4th of July package will go out in the afternoon mail. I hope you like what I have chosen for you.
Continue to have fun ladies. I am alone this weekend (well I have my doggies) but July 4th I will go to the neighbors for their annual 4th of July party, it is always a good time.
They so far have announced that their will be community fire works in Cripple Creek, but it is just so very dry so they could ban the fireworks we well see.

Winnie, my husband sent your package as an overnight so you should have it today. I still have not heard from Danielle.
Just a thought but if we do this next year could we please exchange partners earlier so we could KNOW that the package reachs the person it is intended for before July 4. I made red/white/blue earrings which are great for Memorial day and July 4 but getting them on
July 6 is a little late. It is disappointing for me to actually make something for my partners and have their packages ready to mail and have 1 that does not respond to me and to have to send the other overnight so Winnie would have her earrings to wear on July 4. Just a thought. I had fun making my gifts, so I guess it really doesn't matter but it is disappointing. Joey

I am sorry you are disappointed Joann about the way the swap ended. I for one celebrate 4th of July the whole week as to me it is such a special holiday. In fact I celebrate all of July and my decorations stay up from Flag Day in June until the end of July. So, I guess I am just different than others in the way I celebrate.
My package will not arrive until after I get back from my vacation on the 15h, which I requested of my partner. That is fine with me as I will have my wonderful 4th of July package waiting for me when I return home.
Thank you for your input and who ever may want to do the swap next year can change things the way they wish.

Hi Joey & Debbie :) Joey I think your one partner will be so touched that you made her patriotic earrings, she'll wear them even if the holiday is over ;) I decorate all year long with red, white & blue, even at Christmas ;) You do not need a holiday to show you are patriotic & that you LOVE Our Country. I even have purses that are red, white & blue ;)I wear & use these colors all the time :) I am proud I am an American & I wear her colors. So take heart, I am sure all will turn out well :)
