All this talk about root canals makes me nervous. My dog hit my front tooth and killed the nerve in 2009 and I have to get a root canal and whitening done on the front teeth, I have insurance and it will cost me about $500. Plus my DH needs one because his dentist really messed up one of his teeth.
mmmm, childbrith first then we can think about the root canal.

Hi Annette!! Thanks for asking. Actually, I've been asleep almost the entire day. That little blue pill they gave me is murder. Don't think I'll be doing THAT again. Just give me the gas and I'll be swell. The wonderful news is that after they got in there and saw how much of the tooth was gone, they figured the so much would have to be dug out that it would require a root canan. But I have bigger teeth than they reckoned for and so they didn't have to dig too deep. Therefore, no root canal!! Yayyyyyy. And that made it $500 cheaper. whew. So now I just have a temporary cap with a permanent one on its way. It's been a good day - although I've missed most of it because I was drugged. :-)
