Thanks, Jeannie! I sent out my packages to you and Margie yesterday! As for many cookbooks, my shelves are holding 85 right now, and that is not including booklets, pamphlets and magazines! The more the merrier!!

Jeannie,

Nope, I didn't have that one! Also, I loved the hand made card...did you order them from her on this site?

Kelly - got not one but two vintage cookbooks from you yesterday! What a nice gift to see in the mail - a treat with no tricks on Halloween! Thank you so much.

The card I sent to you was designed and made by Eileen, and yes, I contacted her through this site when she was offering them once. Email her, she may have more! I love them.

Thanks again!

Peace

Elizabeth - I love the cookbook you sent! I have even looked at that one wanting it! Gooseberry Patch books are really fun. And thank you for the extra gift of holiday kleenex tissue holder. You must have known I have lots of allergies and need tissues a lot! So cute and thoughtful. Thank you!

Hi Georgann,
My cookbook arrived today - thank you so much!! And the apron is the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen - I have just been patting it all day (I love stroking beautiful fabric - weird, huh?!) This is the first swap that I have got back and it is lovely.
Thanks again,
Jayne

Jayne....I'm so glad you received it in good shape. I apologize deeply for the delay. No it is not weird to stroke gorgeous fabric. It is one of my favorite past-times! LOL.....LOVE fabric and gemstones and all those girly things!! So, so glad you are enjoying it. Oh, and the cookbook I had to order then reorder it. The first one came in with a page ripped out...imagine that, I guess someone wanted that tomatoe recipe pretty bad! LOL. That book showcases typical Southern USA cooking. I chose that cookbook because it uses such simple easy to find ingredients, hopefully commonly found in Australia too.

And Girlfriends, you should see the wonderful Farmgirl bag that Jayne sent to me with a fabulous cookbook tucked inside of it. It is the cutest country girl bag I have ever, ever seen. I love it, Thank you so very much from a tired old farmgirl!

Jayne, I have sent you a cookbook weeks ago. Keep looking for it! The one I sent to Canada took forever, too. I wonder why, as you seem to be getting other packages quicker! Anyway, I did not forget you!

Thanks Georgann, so glad you liked it.
Jeannie, thanks - I'm sure it is whizzing its way here - can take a while sometimes - when I order books from amazon, they take up to 6 weeks. Yours is on its way too!
Best wishes,
Jayne

Thanks, Daffodil - isn't this fun? Now I never go into a bookstore without looking at the cookbooks. Now, if I would only use them each night, instead of reaching into the fridge and cooking with my usual ingredients! :)

Daffodil Dreamer - thank you! Oh all you gals should see the wonderful little package she sent to me. It contained A cross-stitched Christmas doorhanger pouch with hand-made soap inside from Australia. And a beautiful Christmas cookbook.......MaryJane should see the cookbook....she would love it....the photos and lay-out and recipes are superbly done! I am swept away by the generosity of the farmgirls on this site, and Jayne, thank you! My hubby is so surprised when I show him the things we swap.

I hope you get your book from me soon!

Thanks, Jeannie - so glad you liked it!! Love making little goodies for the farmgirls!! (Sorry it took me so long to reply - crazy birthday party weekend for my oldest daughter - lots of cooking and then a crowd of giggling 11 year olds!)
Happy Christmas cooking,
Jayne

Hi Jeannie,
Just wanted to check in with you - your book hasn't arrived yet - did you send it air or sea mail? It just seems to be taking a long time and I am hoping it hasn't gone missing.
Best wishes,
Jayne

Well, I think it went sea (surface) mail. They told me it would take four to six weeks, and it has now been eight. I am sorry it is not there yet! If it is not there soon, I will send you another!

Jeannie,
Certainly no need to send another - it's not your fault if the mail went missing!! Just thought I'd see if it did go sea as it can take up to twelve weeks to get here. Books I've ordered from amazon have taken that long (from when they have sent the email to say they have despatched). So we will just keep waiting - I'm sure it is still on the way!
Best wishes,
Jayne

Jayne - yours came so swiftly - yours must have been by air. But it certainly came this way a lot faster than mine going your way!!! Let's keep hoping that it arrives.
