Gotta say-I am ENJOYING this postcard swap..problem is, now I want to visit everyone and don't have the time or cash to do that. Bummer! Thanks for all the cards. It's gotten so that if I get the mail and I don't get a card I am disappointed and don't feel "loved" that day. LOL. I'm working on mine so I can send some love too. Joey

Got one yesterday of and Old Grist Mill from Catherine Biderman in Oak Brook Illinois
We have a cool old Grist Mill close to us too and I swear their flour and cornmeal is the best ever!

Hi. Just to let you all know that I'm still here. I haven't got my cards mailed yet, but I do have them now. They will be in the mail soon.

I've received 14 cards so far, and I love this swap. It's interesting to see where everybody is from and what interests there are.

I cannot master those things that I have not tried.

I'm a little delayed in getting my postcards out. I ordered online from the place CJ used. I was in the process of addressing them all and left them lying on the table. When my mom was here for my daughter's wedding she pointed out that Colorado was spelled wrong. Good grief!!! So yesterday I went to a local store and purchased some postcards and have started over again.

Life is super busy here but I will get them all out before the deadline. I'm really enjoying the ones I have received so far and wish I could visit all of the beautiful places. Thank you all!

Pilar...got your postcard today! Very interesting picture your daughter took.
It is full of light and energy...just like I would invision NY,NY!!!!

I can only send out about 5 postcards at a time before my hand is cramping from
writing. I am not a person of few words and a postcard is a challenge. LOL

Kathleen...what a bummer on your postcards girl! The Post Card Company should
make those right for you at NO Cost. Contact them.

Kathy,
I'm with Peggy . . . if the misspelling on your cards was their mistake I'd ask for reprint at no cost. I'd certainly give that a try.

I'm sure enjoying all the wonderful cards! Thanks soooooooo much!

I don't know who's mistake it was. I'm thinking it was mine since they would just print them as they are instructed. Oh well, I learned to slow down and take my time. I've been in rush mode for a couple of months now and obviously not paying as much attention to things as needed. :-)

Kathleen....I'm with Debbie...I wouldn't care if Colorado is spelled wrong either. I just want to see your picture.
You couldn't just make a little joke of it on the card. I wouldn't buy more!

Hello,

When Kethry was 8 she had to have a horse. We had agreed that we would wait until she was nine but I went away one weekend and came home to a horse. she was a great bargain. She had been a school horse, well mannered, quiet, small and gentle. Not only did we buy a horse but she was pregnant. A friend said Ihope she does not have twins because usually one twin dies or both or all three. People told us we could ride her right up until the day she gave birth. In May we saddled her up and she just stood there looking very taxed. In July she looked like she had a 55 gallon barrel sideways inside her. On the seventh of July she was laying down and getting up just like we were told about to give birth mothers do. She gave birth first to the filly. We were happy the baby was alive and well. the mare was doingjust asa mare should. then she layed down again we thought the after birth was coming but NO! There was a nose and a head. He came right out and we uncovered his nose and mouth and he started breathing. The nightmare had occurred. Fortunately all three survived. We named them after King Davidand the Queen of Sheba, Solomon and Makeda. Solomon was the size if a Brittany Spaniel and Makeda was the size if a Plott hound. When their mother wouild call for them he would run right to her and she would look up and walk the other way.
Kethry, our daughter can still put on that "I am so thrilled" look. She has other interests now and the horses live elsewhere but we still visit the twins and the little girl who has them now loves them to pieces. They both darkened up to chocolate and now are whitening out. Their mother was a dapple gray and their father was a pinto but, it is amazing to us just how significantly their coloring has changed. This evening we will try to post a picture of them now.

Holly

Postcards are arriving in my mail box everyday, and I love it! I will finish getting mine out after I get back from visiting hubby in Utah.
Thanks ladies for all the beautiful cards.
Kathleen,it is alright if CO is spelled wrong heck sometimes I spell my own name wrong:-) We would just love to see the picture, who cares about the spelling. You are so busy with the wedding I am surprised you have time to do anything else.
Have fun ladies.
Farmgirl Hugs,
Debbie
