I received two more cards today. I haven't figured out who everybody is yet, but one is from Mississippi and one is from Florida. Thank you. I'm lovin' all the beautiful cards.
I cannot master those things that I have not tried.

I was shopping in my local Archiver's this evening and found the cutest little cork tile! It's 12x12" like a scrapbook page, so it would fit in a shadowbox. It is printed with a map of the US in Americana colors. I bought it thinking I can use pointed toothpicks placed to represent where my farmgirl mail comes from. On the top of the toothpicks, I plan on making little flags with the actual farmgirl and town names. Not sure how well this will work in some of those smaller eastern states LOL but I am going to give it a try! I'll post a pic when I've got a few of the markers made up.

so i got 3 cards yesterday too!!!!!Florida Susan and Mississippi Deborahs and Iowa marlenes!!!! the collection is growing!!!that puts me to 6----ad i may send myself one just to remember this year by!
I also had an ephiphany of what I should photograph for NEXT years card!!!!!(hint hint hostess CJ!!!)

Oh yes, Postcard Swappers . . . you SHOULD "send" yourself one. That way your collection is commplete!! I have one of mine for my collection . . . just a note on the back it's for the 2011 Postcard 50 States/Favorite Vacation spot Swap.

Margo, Archiver's is a chain but not national. They do have an online store. The label on the back says "Heartfelt Travel Cork Map of US" and when I googled that I got a few places that carried them. Amazon has a good image here:

The toothpick idea didn't work, they are too blunt, but I figure I can do do something with straight pins too. It came with 10 real short straight pins but I couldn't attach an identity flag to those.....if just location was important, like doing a map of places you've visited, one of those hot-fix rhinestone guns would be cool too. I can think of a lot of idea on how to use these cork maps!

Hi Everyone. I am puting my postcards in plastic page protectors. Three will fit in each and I secure them with a small piece of tape so they don't slide around. You can see both sides. They will eventually go in my Farmgirl notebook. Catherine, could you use the Japanese sewing pins that have the little flat "flower" on the end? Don't know if there is enough room to write much on them but they would be pretty!

Hey postcard swappers! I just realized that my address says Place instead of Pass....I have been receiving some already, so the post office is getting them to me, but for their sake...change "Place" to "PASS."
