I got cards RoDonna/Kentucky loved the Daniel Boone and one from Sherry/Longview Texas. We have a Longview Washington near us.
It is funny how many States use the same names for a city or town.

I'm still here and receiving cards every few days. I've been enjoying a vacation with my two grandchildren, but a couple of days ago I actually got a few of my postcards mailed. I will be mailing the rest of them shortly.
Thank you all for the lovely cards. I have decided to put them in a photo album with photo corners so that I can still take them out and read the messages.
I cannot master those things that I have not tried.

Got a card today from Rodonna from Kentucky featuring the Louisville Slugger. Love baseball and love this card-especially since Derek Jeter of the NY Yankees is only two hits away from 3000!!!

I have absolutely loved getting these cards. I have read and reread all of the cards almost every day and do so enjoy them. I have gotten 17 cards now and can't wait for the rest. Mine are FINALLY all done and will probably go out in the mail tomorrow or Monday. I may have sent some folks 2 so if you don't get one from me, please let me know and I'll be glad to send one along. I got three postcards this week from Linda in N. Dakota, RoDonna in Kentucky, and Phyllis in Oregon. Thanks girls they are wonderful! I'm up to 25 in my collection now. Can't wait for the others to arrive...

I received a card from Phyllis in Oregon today. It was a picture of the state capital building. I thought all state capitals had gold domes. Surprise! the one in Salem does not.
Our state capital is the third incarnation as well. One was in Windsor, one was burned in Montpelier and this is the present day capital in MOntpelier. the preservation of the state capital building committee raises money to restore it with historical accuracy to the late 1800's. Some of the color schemes are very bright and cheery almost garrish but I guess people needed bright colors in the long winters back in the day.

I was gone for a week at a weaving conference and when I got home found postcards from Mary (PA), Phyllis(OR), RoDonna(KY), Robin (AZ) and Margo(MI).Som many interesting places, wish I could travel to them all but postcards are the next best "vacation". Thanks all.

Oh Peggy, thank you. I know they weren't as "personal" as some of the cards I've gotten, but I wrote them all at one time. I also like the things people write. I love the cards I've gotten and SO look forward to the ones still to come. Heading to my daughters farm in NC for 5 days and look forward to see if any cards await my return.

Last week I received a postcard from Sherry in Longview, Texas. this week on one of the side columns of our newspaper was an article about a woman who gave birth by cesarian section a 16 pound baby boy from Longview, Texas. I figure Sherry does not know this woman but it does make reading the newspaper interesting when one does know someone from that town. the world is a little smaller.
