OK Farmgirls, I could use some of your ingenuity please :) !
I was given a big box of very ripe oranges that I need to preserve in some way before they go bad.
We are eating them as fast as we can, as well as making juice; but we've hardly made a dent in the box.
I think I'll make a batch of marmalade, but what else can I do with this abundance of orange goodness? Any recipes or ideas for me?

Blessings,
Catherine

YOu can peel some and freeze the slices. They make nice snacky popsicles. You could juice them and can the juice in the canner. Be sure to clean the peelings and grate for orange zest for cooking before you peel them.

Do what you love, love what you do.

I would freeze the juice. Canning would kill the vitamin c.

Use some of the peels to make candied orange peel. Then you can dip those in dark chocolate for a real fancy treat!
