Man. Yesterday I go to put some clothes in the laundry, and what do I see but OIL on the clothes! I was so devastated. This washer has really served it's purpose (It's like 17 years old) but it's just one of those appliances that when it breaks, you're really bummed about. This is my last week of work before becoming a stay at home mom, AND a week before leaving on a nice week-long trip, so spending $500 on a washer is dissapointing (We'd go the used route, but I cloth diaper, so it's necessary to have a dependable machine). When it rains it pours, no?

Yuck! We cloth diaper too and I don't know what I'd do if ours decided to kick the bucket. Big hugs!

Husband came home last night with a 600.00 maytag! woo hoo! Not liking how much it was, but loving the look of it! :)
