While we were up visiting my DH mom, she was loading me up with all kinds of goodies. One was a shopping bag full of beads and things of that sort. Now, I have a whole bag full and not a clue what to do with it. Would anyone like to point me in a good direction, please? They are mostly "stonish" beads like turqoise sorts. Any ideas would be most appreciated! hugs Jessie

If they are larger you can make jewelry with it. I am not a pro at it but you can find tons of info online about making necklaces and such.

Thanks for the input. I will definitely be looking around online to see what goodies I can find there. :) hugs Jessie

That's true, Jamie. I was thinking maybe that was the route I would go. Other than stringing them up, I'm not too creative when it comes to that sort of things.
Weird--I just now saw your post. :( hugs Jessie

How big are the beads? Are they seed beads? If yes, you can sew them onto interfacing and make beautiful Native American applique. It's a lot of work, but it almost always turns out georgeous!
If they are bigger beads, like pony beads, you can make several strings together and then buy a silver pendant (Silpada has several). You'd have to visit a beading store for the clasps and string (you definitely want bead-store string). Beading like this is very easy and very quick.
