I'll be anxiously waiting to see your blocks and I will let you know when they arrive. Today is my BD and it's Thundering,Lightening and Pouring. What a way to usher it in. LOL!

I mailed my blocks today via Priority Mail. You should get them on Saturday it said. LOL!

We are all good on the Coast. The worst damage is about 5 hours North, in the Tuscaloosa Birmingham area.

So far the blocks are all different and just beautiful. They have me singing, "I'm a yankee doodle dandy"....Can you here me? I hope not! YIKES~LOL!

Hey Darlene, I almost have my blocks finished, just like one. My grandmother past away on Wednesday so I have been busy with funeral and driving back and forth to Texarkana the last four days. It's a two and a half hour drive one way, so been on the road alot. But anyway hope to have the blocks in the mail by the first of the week. I will let you know when I mail them. Thanks

Hello to all....I have mailed my blocks today. I hope that everyone was safe during last weeks weather. I was in Paducah Ky at the quilt show. Very interesting week...flooding, hail, high winds, tornadoes.... you name it we saw it. One of our quilt shops in north Ga no longer is standing. It was in Ringgold. I have heard that they did save some of the quilts that they had on displayed in the shop. My heart goes out to all who where affected by the storm, Barbara

 Terrible weather conditions all over the USA. Thank God for keeping us safe and Blessings to those that need it. It is raining like it never rained here again today. This weather has surely been much different than usual. Last night before the storm started my poor dog started shaking and panting. Within minutes it was thundering..

Toni~received your lovely blocks today. Thank you so much for the tuckin's. How did you know I needed the gloves? LOL! Love the pincushion, what a clever idea. Seeds and trowel will be put to use monday if the weather cooperates! Need to thin out my perennials and plant the garden. Need help big time this year since all my herniated discs are causing a major scene!
Still have all different blocks and every single one of them are beautiful!
Tell Nettie we missed her!!!

So glad the blocks arrived. The post lady said Saturday but I thought for sure
it wouldn't be till Monday. Guess she was right. So glad you could use the tuck
ins. I would love to come and help in your garden if I lived closer and didn't
work sooo much. Love playing in the dirt. Sorry to hear about your back, nothing
they can do? Hope it gives you some relief for gardening. I kept telling Nettie
to sign up, she is going to be so jealous when she sees the blocks. I will get to
say told you so. |
