Hi sunshine. I just saw the beautiful beadwork on your blog. I have a few(handful or so) very old beads that were in my sewing box when I poured out all the buttons I sent you. They still have old material clinging to some of them - I always called them carnival glass beads because that's what they look like. They are purple/blue tones. I don't know if they are glass beads, but they seem heavy. They are strung together in a sort of teardrop shape like the beads in your pictures. And in my last Country Living issue, there were beaded purses with beads like mine and they really are called carnival glass!:D If you could use them for anything, I'd be happy to send them along to you.

Sunshine, just one thing I want to know, How do you have time to do all those pretty things? I get started on something , forget about it , find it about 2 months later, the desire to finish it is gone.

I don't really consider my self a knitter I am not geed enough at it yet. I can hold my own but I want to get better before I call my self that. I also posted a stained glass window panel I made in Collage probably after Nance looked at the blog.

Calling for help I posted a quilt today on my blog it is about 9 years old. I need suggestions on how to make it so that I like it. Please look and leave comments or suggestions I hate that it is sitting in a drawer collecting dust so to speak.

took a break from my crafting to look at your blog. loved everything,but was really captivated with the bluejean rug. as usual i love your work and your use of color. you go girl.

I know my family is well now but I just started antibiotics yesterday I started to relapse with a sore throat and ear aches so now I am the one down better me than the kids though.
I like the jean rug will probably go in my oldest daughters room as she is the only bedroom without a hand made rug in it. The jean is much harder to stitch than the wool or cotton toweling I have used before. My hands are just in pain. But that is short lived and they are starting to callous as they always do when I make a rug.

Hello Sunshine, Your rug is looking good. I have been saving old teeshirts to make a rug. My sister in law made one and it was gorgeous. Of course she is very talented. Don't forget to include a photo when the rug is done.
