I love the badges but some of them i can't complete....ie milking a cow...but I have a neighbor who has goats that I have milked & I have milked sheep...so could that badge be modified so its cows/goats or sheep that you milked.

I also am too old with a bad back to cut wood...but I can move it & stack it....I also collect downed tree limbs in our area for kindling...I can do all the other things for that badge but that cutting a cord of wood prevents me from getting it....

In the helping your community one you have volunteering for like HFH but I live way far from things like that but we do have a Nursing home/Elderly center that I could volunteer to teach easy crafts to....I do help a lot of people but somethings are impossible & I want to be able to do more...not so much for the badges but because I love seeing all the different challenges that I am up for & want to do if just modified a bit...thank you...Michele'

Hi Michele,

Yes milking a goat would work just as well as a cow. As for the Light the Way badge, just do what you can and it won't be a problem. And the Community Service badges, we only give suggestions of places to volunteer, you can actually pick anywhere you like. Hope that helps.
