When I was little, I used to love American Girl. In fact, I had two of the American Girl dolls, tons of the magazines, loads of the books, including the craft books. I also blame American Girl on my interest in crafts and history.

Now that I am older, I still treasure my American Girl collection. The books, have such simple stories and it's still fun to cook out of the cookbooks or make crafts from the old craft books that are nearly impossible to find anymore. Unless one shops on ebay.

Anyway, the other day I was browsing Josefina's craft book. ( a craft book I have treasured more than the others) And I found instructions for a little hen pincushion. So I thought, OMG MaryJane's Farm! Then I thought, Haha, Hen for the Farmgirl Sisterhood and I had to make one.

I think it turned out just darling, and am very proud of it. I dont know why I never made one before. If anyone would like the instructions, I would be more than happy to scan them into my computer and email them.

Aw I'm glad everyone liked my little hen pincushion. I'm working on getting the patterns emailed.
And Daisy, there are tons of cute crafts in each of the American Girl craft books.

That came out really cute! I love pincushions. (If only I could get the pins to stay in them and not on the floor!)
