Hello I am so happy to be a part of this amazing group. Thank you, don't have a farm sure wish I did. Instead we live on a Beautiful lake in Oklahoma, so I have to be content with creating primitives and folkart and going fishing with my hubby.

my Name is Brenda, I have been sewing and selling my items for over 30 years and I am very blessed to still be at it today. I love to sew, and spend everyday doing just that.

I used to own a shop in Gladewater Texas called The Rusty Thimble and when we relocated back home to Oklahoma I started selling online under that name as well.

Looking forward to reading through the forum and getting to know everyone.

Lifes not about the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

Just a small town country girl, farmgirl, loggergirl, trying to live her dreams. :)

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!!

Hello from south central Kansas. We are only about an hour from the Oklahoma border. Is your lake private or public? My husband and I are want to take a short vacation during spring break. Last night I was looking at several lakes in northeast and southeast Oklahoma.

I would rather wear out than rust out.----Richard Cumberland

Thank you everone for the warm welcome. Katherine our lake is public but we are by the texas border.
if you want to go to a GREAT lake in north east Oklahoma I would suggest going to Lake Tenkiller you will
not regret it. It is Beautiful and BIG!! In fact we use to always stay at the north end of the lake at a place Called Pettit Bay? on the spelling. It is by or closer to Talequah *a town* and also closer to a indian village they use to have I am sure it is still there? The Illinois River is right there close as well and such a beautiful drive, and it is well known for canoe trips.
