does anyone else ever feel just crabby for no good reason ? I think it must be an estrogen drop or something, just feel grrrr....and things aren't any more stressful than usual. wish my knee was better and it wasn't 5 degrees outside or I'd go for a walk, that usually helps. maybe chocolate ? |

Patricia I do believe it could be a estrogen something! There are days that I just have no energy and just want to sit and read. Those when I wake up crabby (for absolutely no reason) I just try to stay to myself. It's just to easy to spout out something I'll be sorry for later. Maybe this should be the site for those kind of days. We've all experienced them and could be a great support. Alot of times just talking with Linda(prayingranny) we will eventually start laughing about how goofy we are and it helps alot. Do hope that the grrrrr will soon be back to grrreat! Hugs, Brenda

Yup . . . been there, done that!!! It just is part of life and part of the "cycles". I do think it has a lot to do with estrogen levels, I also think that weather and barometric pressure can have an affect. I am able to get out and walk and that does help. I also try to stay to myself and keep busy with whatever I can or want to . . . and a lot of times whatever I engage in helps all that "yuk" dissipate. So, you're among friends . . . . . .and like Red Green says "We're pulling for ya'". Hang in there! CJ

Usually it's from low Serotonin levels, I find a banana always helps, my wife swears by chocolate. I guess that means you should just cover your bases and make a sundae.

Kevin is so right but make sure that the sundae is with Rum Raisin Icecream but that will lift you up even higher. I find when I get that way I put on the headphones, crank up the music and go outside and do some all out farm work. The other day it was hammering in over 300 fenceing nails and then cleaning out the barns. Followed by a very stiff Gin and Tonic that evening with a bubble bath.
Another great trick is I go out into my forest and scream, cry, rant and even throw pine cones - heck the deer may freak out for awhile but it sure is cheaper then medication or therapy...
