Yay! Glad to know you can still get ribbon for typewriters. I will be dragging mine out soon and cleaning her up. It'll make a neat addition to the craft room.

enjoy your issue!

I sure hope I get mine tomorrow! I'm starting to think my mail woman is borrowing my magazines, I've seen two in the stores and still haven't gotten them! As my bunny Oggie says "THUMP"!

Wanted to make the Feta muffins on p. 93 to go with dinner tonight. It says 375 degrees but doesn't say how long to bake. Has anyone else made them?

Got mine today there always seems to be the best information on things I have wanted to do. I have an old set of furniture that I wanted to white wash but never had the recipe for the paint. Also DH is so unhappy about me using the shop/garage to park my car in that I told him I would start looking for a garage to house just my car and then he wouldn't have to have my car in his way. I have already secured 10 pallets and will start getting more as time goes by as I am going to make a green house the same way I will just use thick plastic an the roof to get a head start on my plants.

LOVE MaryJane

Meg - Thanks. Since I had planned to have them with soup tonight for dinner I went ahead and made them and guessed 30 minutes and watched carefully. They were great. Thanks to you and Carol for the quick response. We're having the leftovers with breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend this recipe.

The one thing I know is when that magazine arrives in my mailbox, well, everything else is on hold!! LOL!! I will read and re-read it several times. The muffins are high on my "priority list" they sound so yummy I have to try them!

The pallet barn got me thinking, why not a pallet greenhouse?? I could insulate the pallets with hay ( stuff in down in between the layers) and with a few poles and the greenhouse plastic I could have a great greenhouse! Thank you for the inspiration

Also loved the cottage. . . love to see someone's dream come true! Loved the shelves wayyyyy up high. . something I would do.

Hello Sisters of the heart....I'm excited to say this is my very first post. I just joined the sisterhood today as an early birthday gift to myself! I was inspired to do so after reading the new issue of MJF. I haven't been able to put this issue down...I've decided to start journaling about my dream farm and I want to repaint my bathroom and oh my goodness...those cupcakes!! Gosh this is so fun!

I also avoided the topic until I read mine. I think I jumped up and down a little when I got my issue. (I got a gift subscription for Christmas from my MIL, and she has no idea how happy she has made me!) I love the milk paint, and can't wait to try it somewhere. Defintely have to try the lemon curd muffins, and those olive one looked really good too! Oddly enough, I really loved the pale rose background behind the MaryJane Farm title on this issue. It was so delicate and pretty. The weird things that I love! lol

Me too! I've had more aha moments reading MJF. This issue was packed full of inspiring people, projects and a road map to dreams come true too! I loved the little white cottage, Meg's Dream Farm Journal Wall, the ladder plant stand,( have one in the shed ) and all the press for rescued horses ( and other animals) in need... Oh, I LOVED it all really but these pieces spoke to some of the treasures of my heart.

I haven't received my issue either. I'm almost tempted to go to Barnes and Noble and see if I can pick it up there. Then if I got it in the mail, I'd just have two copies...and there's nothing wrong with that.

Kara - I always buy a few extra copies at the grocery store so I can mail them out to friends in other states who can't seem to find them locally for some reason. It blows my mind, but there are still a lot of people who haven't even heard of MJF! To me it's like a vitamin for the soul! And I purposely try to keep a spare on hand. There's always one upstairs as well as down, AND I like having an extra copy available because in every single issue I've found an article that one of my friends really would need or love to read, too! (Heaven FORBID I have to part with my own! LOL!) So, you're right - there's absolutely nothing wrong with that!

Sharin' the love... just sharin' the love... :) - Nini
