I want to roll myself up in the new MJF issue. Seriously. The cottage in it is to absolutely die for. I am assuming that she has no children with the entirely white decor, but HEY we can all dream, right? Lol.
And the old typewriters...I have two. Now I can actually do something with them!
Thank you, Lord, for MJF magazine. My bi-monthly dose of sanity!

Me! I'm in love with it too!!!
Amanda - I'm in love with the cottage, too! That shabby look with the Victorian gingerbread - oh! I melted!!! White is not an option in this testosterone-overloaded household, but you're right - we can dream! It's heavenly!!! And isn't it amazing that she did all that herself? I am thinking I'd like to get me a set of tools now... Anytime I've had some in the past my hubby has found a "need" for them and they've disappeared into the abyss of his massive collection... I would LOVE to do something like that. And I am definitely loving the whole milk paint concept. We've got some painting of walls, floors and furniture to do - I am going to start surfing that website this weekend! YES!!!
Marian/Dutchy, if you're out there, it's all in white, but oh my goodness, I think you're going to flip when you see it - so many ideas!!! Can't WAIT for you to receive your issue, too! ;)
Happy reading! - Nini

Yes, yes! The milk paint! Girl, I am all OVER that! I cannot wait to use that! I am about to do a major makeover of my new craft room...I have been talking about milk paint, and BAM, there's the article! Woohoo!
Oh, BTW, they make some good pink tools nowadays....hint, hint! Lol! I bought pink pens for work so that the men wouldn't steal them, lol.

LOL! Can't wait to hear your review, Marian!!! :)
Ooooooo! Amanda! Are you the pink tool lady??? I had emailed someone here on the forum, but didn't receive a response. I figured my email went to that person's spam box, and then I completely forgot about it! I wonder if my DH could withstand the hoots, hollars and jeers if he were to bring pink tools to the jobsite... heh heh heh... I think not! Pink tools might just be my tool salvation! LOL!
Well... actually... Now that I'm thinking about it... I'm sure he'd be fine using them around the house...
And... actually... I'm sure he could find a way to reason and deal with the guys at work... I mean, really, what guy on earth would steal pink tools on the job and get away with it? And I'm sure they'd be able to identify his pink tools out of any gang box... And I bet he'd lose a lot less tools on the job in general, being able to see them in any light BECAUSE they're pink...Oh, geez... Maybe they wouldn't be my salvation after all... Maybe the pink tool lady would have a whole new circle of customers from my DH's work out of the deal... <sigh> Ugh... It's hopeless... LOL!
Weeeeellll, nevertheless, I'm with you, Marian... maybe, just maybe... It might be worth the risk with my DH... and a splurge that is worth it's weight in pink! ;)

No, I am the Crazy Chicken/Plant Lady, lol! Self-admitted. My DH has more tools than anyone I have ever known. We have a repair business, so he has to have a ton of tools. Even still, sometimes some of mine end up in his box! I keep mine in the house and his are outside. Hmmm, but I would like to have some pink tools sometime. Debi, can you post the link on here?

Oh, Amy! You're so right! Those barns are adorable! My DH gets pallets all the time from work and uses them for various projects... I'm wondering if I can coax him into making me a little potting shed with them - a world all my own - out in a small, unused section of our backyard. And, oh yes! CUPCAKES! The ones with lemon curd - how dee-vine!!!
Hang in there, Ruthy - it's totally worth the wait! 'Hope it arrives soon! :)
