This has been going on for years. It could be due to all the diseases and conditions I have Yes, I have talked to my doctor He gave me a high powered nerve pill; but it doesn't help with the sleeping situation. It does help with the burning I have from fibro. I am Diabetic type 2 so I have to be careful about what I do. So, Any ideas . I feel like a walking zombie most of the time; half here and half some where else The only time I have felt like I have gotten any sleep is when they put me under for an operation. lol hugs sheila

I have had a problem with sleeping also - I can fall asleep but not stay asleep. I did take someones suggestion and tried a relaxation CD - one that talks you through a progressive relaxation and it has helped me so much.

It may sound odd, but what about the color of your bedroom? Have you tried sleeping in a different room? I had a bedroom painted blue and was waking up with headaches, the doctor suggested I repaint the room a more subtle color, I chose cream and it seemed to help some.

I can empathize with your dilemma!
I am the type of insomniac that can fall asleep but I just can't seem to stay asleep. I will be up 2-3 X during the night---knowing that I will be pretty well shot the next day.
Warm milk? Over-the-Counter Benadryl? (it's not addicting-at least that is what my MD says)-A good book to read?
It's gotten to the point at times for me to be completely physically exhausted before I can sleep a whole night through-Maybe some of us are "wired" that way-Sure hope you can find something to help with those sleepless nights!
My room is a lilac color ; which I love It is my room and Master bedroom; moving to another room is not an option I had this problem for years in every place we have lived in I have bladder problems too. So, I have to get up several times a night for that and if my IBs is acting up that too.lol always something. hugs sheila
