I might have gotten a little behind here, there and everywhere with my chores but was able to squeeze in time for making these "CAPS FOR GOOD" and it has been worth every minute. The deadline is approaching at the end of this month which still gives us time to make more caps.

Here's my Set IV ......

Sometimes I would get up a little earlier in the morning and make a cap or two. You can indeed squeeze in the time to make these gifts of love.

With February as NATIONAL HEART MONTH and this FRIDAY as NATIONAL WEAR RED DAY to remind us as women to take care of our hearts and keep them healthy, this is a perfect fit to make some more "CAPS FOR GOOD" and continue to invite our friends and Farmgirl Sisters to knit and crochet along with us.

These caps aren't GIANT in Size but to the babies who are going to receive them in Africa, Asia, and South America, they will mean everything!

Here's a look at the caps that I have made (Sets I-IV) that I'll be sending off, once they are all tagged up with my personalized message.

It's always just that much more special when we get to go along and actually see where "CAPS for GOOD" goes........

Theresa, I'm up to 17 caps! I'm aiming for definitely 25. I think I can do that. What a small thing I can do that will make such a huge difference to the babies around the world!
Teresita, thank you for reminding me to wear red on Friday! I will definitely remember!

Happy GO RED Day to all my Farmgirl Sisters here at the Farmgirl Connection.

While wearing my RED sweater today, I'm also happy to report that there are 4 more caps to be added to our total. When I get another dozen or baker's dozen, I'll be sending this batch off to Theresa.

Hope everyone has a SUPER weekend. I'm actually skipping the SUPER BOWL coverage this year and instead watch a movie and continue crocheting to finish off my next batch.

After wrapping up my next dozen, I'll be getting back to making my Chemo Caps to take to my local Cancer Center for Valentine's Day. They've been calling me and letting me know they are running low.

It was a nice weekend..... a little too windy outside for me..... but sunny and since skipping the Super Bowl this weekend, I am happy to have completed 4 more caps.

Since my previously-posted 36 caps, I have now added 8 more caps to our growing number of "CAPS FOR GOOD" that we are making with love.

Please add + 6 more Caps to fill up my box to THERESA with 14 caps in the second box that I'll be sending off this week.

My total made should equal 50 "CAPS for Good" which will now complete the goal that I was hoping to reach.

I have very much enjoyed being a part of the "Caps for Goood" 2011.

I have 3 completed with 2 more to go. I set my goal at 5 caps for now because I've been trying to get acquainted with everyone here and the site and we are getting packed up to move a couple of weeks from now. I'm hoping to get more than 5 caps done, but I don't want to promise it in case I run out of time. I've been looming all of mine thus far, but I think I will do some crocheted ones too.

Susan, Loom knitting the Caps for Good is wonderful too and they do work up extra fast. Thanks for caring and looming along with love. I know they will be very welcomed by little babies who very much need them. Good luck with with packing. Crocheting the caps is very easy too. They work up very fast and you can really play around with the yarns.

Susan,

Thank you Susan..... glad you like the hats. They were really lots of fun and gives a really good and warm-all-over feeling in the heart to know where they are going and how much they will mean...... little hats that are priceless to the little babies receiving them made the time all worth every minute of stitching along with love from the heart.

I am a bit late in sending-
We have been short staffed at work. I have a few last rounds to knit, and I have to weave in ends. I'll be mailing Thursday unless I get called to work.
