long story short; my great dane helped himself to my sf candies from the dollar store (the coffee flavored ones i bought for work)(my SS gift is put waaaay up high so he couldn't find them!)....we went to bed and he evidently got up to spew wet poo on the rug(not carpet) on my bedroom floor--i cleaned up what i could at 1 am and covered it with baking soda to try to dry it to vac later and some paper towel so i wouldn't walk on it...
ideas gals?????? the room is small and the rug is big- would be difficult to take it up-it's a brown color that came from like loews or home depot or somewhere-the rolled up ones.....
i hate to start scrubbing away and make the mess worse without some good tips from my sisters!thanx!

I have a carpet shampooer when things like that happen- but without one I would use lots of vinegar to sanitize the area.
rug cleaner?
