Hi ladies,

Thought I would share this: What are Bounce dryer sheets good for?
Put them on window screens on campers, house, etc to keep our mosquitos...Put them in between beds that are not used alot such as guest beds, sleeping bags, to keep a fresh smell when being used again...put them in drawers where mice frequent, dont forget to put them in your travel trailers drawers... Has anyone heard of what else they're good for?

I was doing an appliqued quilt and ran out of interfacing. It was late at night and no place open to buy more. I was doing a load of laundry and thought wow how about a used dryer sheet ! It worked perfectly

They can tame the frizzies in winter when your hair gets full of static electricity.

I've heard that some people use them for dusting furniture.

Be careful though. I am very allergic to many dryer sheets and you may have a guest who is also allergic to them.

They work great for getting baked on foods off your pots and pans. Take a new full sheet for a large pan or cut one in strips for smaller items. Put the dryer sheet strip in the bottom of your pan and cover the baked on stuff completely with water. Leave it to soak overnight. The gunk will come right off with a scrubbie or a spatula the next day. Then wash as usual.

You can use them to eliminate electricity from your television and computer screen, dissolve soap scum from shower doors and tile walls. A sewing needle run through a sheet prior to sewing can prevent the thread from tangling. A sheet inside a suitcase or travel bag can prevent musty odors. Placing a sheete a the bottom of a waste basket helps prevent odors. This one if fun....when collecting hairpins, rub the area you keep them with a sheet to magnetically attract all the loose hairs. They will take the odor out of boos and photo albums, sneakers, boots, etc. One has to love the old dryer sheet. And speaking of dryer sheets, you can make them. Just cut strips of flannel and put them in a large margarine bowl with a cover. Place about 4 tbsp. of concentrated fabric softener with 2 tbsp. water in a bowl and mix together. Pour over flannel. Close bowl and shake. Once used, just wash and reuse. LOVE THOSE DRYER SHEETS!

Today is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.
