Today I was feeling that my life was going no where, I was depressed and dispirited and angry when like that ol' light bulb coming on, I had this sudden eye opener. I own my own little home outright, therefore I have a roof over my head. I have electricity, I have clean running water, I have enough to eat and drink. I have a loving supportive mate with a good job, I have a wonderful family and loving pets. I have this wonderful community of "sistas" that I love! =) . I really want for very little. I am one of the lucky ones. I feel humbled and blessed to be so lucky.

So how about you? how lucky? how blessed are you?
This world is in bad shape, and here I was moping over my "bad luck"
Wow! The word of the day is "Humble"

That is awesome Annika! I feel so blessed too! When ever I get depressed or life gets to rough I open my bible, log on here, ect and find something that makes me relize how truly blessed I am. I love how God works that way! :)
Thanks so much for sharing!
Hugs,
Hannah

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!!

This last year has been hard with DH not working. And many times I just stop and realize that we have a place to live, keep the bills paid and enough food to survive. My family is healty and have all of you also, which is a true blessing. When we look around us, we can see so many that are not doing well. The best blessing is loveing and knowing we are loved by our heavenly father. And the freedom to share our faith. Have a good day and thank the Lord for it! Hugs,Brenda

Oh my goodness Annika---

After this horrible week here in our little community and Hannah's accident on Friday I have experienced both the best and the worst of humanity. Talk about a roller coaster ride!

I have always believed that people are inherently good and this week made me more conscious of that than I have ever been in my life.

We are truly blessed because there are such good, caring and thoughtful people in and out of our little worlds that make our lives wonderful and fulfilling and complete that include both BIG and SMALL gestures to express our love, empathy and sympathy for each other.

I am so glad that my children learned some stark lessons this week and know that they will be kinder, gentler and more giving and more forgiving young adults and that Annika... that is truly a blessing!
