One of my favorite songs on the radio has such a powerful message. It opens up talking about the child who cries in the corner and has a story no one would believe. Throughout the song the characters ask who will love them?

Every time I hear that song it makes me want to hold Nora and tell her how special she is and that I love her so much.

Don't forget to give the kiddos in your life a big hug and let them know you love them- not for any reason. You just love them. You never know when those words might come back and help them through a tough time.

Alee those words " I love you" are so important. My best friend was 51 years old and dying of cancer the first time her mom told her that she loved her. She called me crying because she had waited so long to hear her mom say those three words. I tell my kids that every time I talk with them and I say them to my parents too.

My dad was one of those men who rarely to almost never say I love you. He would do little things for us though and would say 'Here you go Kiddo' when he'd give us something for no real reason. All of us kids knew that was the best he could do, and so do our children. I have even caught my girls tellin each other 'Here you go Kiddo' and you can see the look between them. My DH and I say Ilove you to them and they say it to us, but sibling rivalry won't allow them to say it to each other. Their grandpa gave them an easier way to say it and it's a special little secret within them family we all enjoy.

The words "I love you" are truly the words of life! Love, once realized, has the power to truly transform - heart, body, mind and soul. In our home, we call it "Vitamin L," and we make sure everyone receives a full dose every day. I couldn't bear it otherwise!

God gave us two hands... one to help ourselves, and one to help others!

I'm with you all. "I Love You" all day, everyday. We even say "love you more." And my daughter found a rock for my garden that says "love you more." We placed it next to the yellow rose bush we planted in my mother's memory. My house is on the smaller side so I decorate the garden.

"Love ya!"

I tell my 3 sons every day that I love them. I want them to know that they can always count on my unconditional love and support. That was something my folks had trouble doing for me.

Alee, that's always the last thing we all say to each other. I can't imagine not telling my family that I love them. Even some of my very close friends. I have all 3 of my granddaughters here this weekend. I am telling them I love them all the time. I really do love them so much more than I ever thought I could. Just imagine how much more God loves each and every one of us.

I always tell my family "I love you" , I tell Drew I love him many times a day...I tell my friends "I love you" and really mean it. I wish that I had told my mama, grandpa and grandma, and all of the other family members that are gone now, how much I loved them. Never, ever stop saying "I love you". They are truly magic words and everyone needs to hear them. Life is too, too, short to not say "I love you" when ever you can to all that you really love. =)

Love and hugs my friends

I love reading these posts. I love you are the most powerful group of words that exist. But they must be followed up with works. Many people in our families through the years could do the works, but not say the words. That is okay. We must see love, words or not, in action. People have many ways of saying I love you.

Many of my family members through the years said you can say any words you want, but you have to walk the walk, not talk the talk. So for all the farmgirls who yearned to hear the words from their dads, etc., think back. Did they walk the walk? Did they love you with their actions? My dad never said the words, but he carried me for miles when I was sick, he was the car waiting to carry me and my friends to school in the snow.......and I knew that meant I love you.

I probably say "I love you" a million times a day to DH and DS. I can't even remember if my mom has ever said it to me and I don't want to repeat her mistake. Neither DH or I heard our parents say it to each other and we don't want to follow in their foot steps.

I truely believe that those three little words can change a persons entire outlook of life, relationships, and the world.
