My son, Vann proposed to his sweetheart, Kristin this last Saturday night. I knew about it and was busting at the seams to tell someone! I had to keep it secret even from my DD, Shannon. He asked her parents for their permission secretly. He took her up to Green Bay, WI for the evening. They ate at Brett Favre's restaurant and took a walk. In front of Lambeau field he got down on his knee held out a perfect 3/4 solitaire princess cut diamond ring and asked her to marry him. She said yes!!!!!Us Wisconsinites really love our Green Bay Packers. One of their first dates was a Packer game. They set the date for September 3rd, 2011. Her parents already booked the church and hall and set them up for marriage classes. I just hope their colors aren't the Packer green and gold! Here is a picture of them. I am so proud. Kristin just finished her Master's Degree in Social Work. They already bought a house together. I am so happy I have another Daughter! Here is a photo of them that I wanted to share.

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hey Diane. I can sure tell who's son that is. He is very handsome and his fiance is beautiful. And she has my name. And they are getting married the same day my daughter and her hubby got married. I know you are super excited and happy for them. They seem to have their lives all figured out so far. Now for the very long wait for the wedding. Congratulations for them and for you too!
