Ladies, years ago I had a 'salad' side dish made with cranberries, maybe apples, nuts, and had maybe cool whip or whipped cream mixed in? It was a fluffy jello type cranberry salad. Was great, but I have lost the recipe years ago. Anyone have an idea of what it is and have the recipe? Blessings, Linda

Hi Linda! Sorry it took so long! The recipe was given to me by a dear friend. :)
Cranberry Salad
1 lb. cranberries 1 cup sugar 2 lbs. red grapes, cleaned and halved 1 cup thinly sliced celery 1 cup thinly sliced and lightly chopped apples a little bit of salt 1 can pineapple (I use pineapple tidbits) 4 small boxes of Jello of your choice - strawberry, cranberry or cranberry-raspberry, or any combination thereof ('bet this can be done using MJ's Chillover Powder and fruit juice, but I haven't tried it yet) 1/2 cup ground nuts (optional)
Grind the cranberries. Mix with sugar and set aside.
Combine grapes with celery and apples. Mix with a little salt and set aside.
Drain pineapple. Set aside. (the liquid is not used in this recipe)
Boil 5 cups of water. Mix with the 4 boxes of Jello.
Mix all the fruits and celery together with the Jello. If desired, add ground nuts on top. Refrigerate to gel.
Enjoy! :) - Nini
