Hello everyone, I'm looking for advice for purchasing my first grain mill. I am looking for hand powered, easy to use, able to grind as fine as flour, and reasonable in price. I'm in Canada so I have to take shipping into account for any US online products.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks muchly.

Good morning,
As you can see on the "grain mill" thread below, the Country Living Grain mill is my mill of choice. I have never used another so I can't compare, but this one makes very fine flour. I see the price has just gone up on it-glad I purchased when I did. I looked for one used but I was not successful in that search, so bit the bullet and bought one new. I baked my first loaf of bread with flour ground with it last night and it was amazing. Fresh flour is much different than flour that has been sitting on a shelf for who knows how long. It would be nice if there was a store where you could try these out for yourself. Maybe in an Amish community?

keep searchin'-it's out there somewhere.
