Hey all - this may have been posted before, but just in case...

The Environmental Working Group (foodnews.org) has this great free shopper's guide to pesticides on their website. I hope I'm not violating anything by posting it here, but, they have a list of the "Dirty Dozen" - the veggies & fruits you most want to buy organic, as they are the worst pesticide holders - and the Clean 15, the fruits & veggies lowest in pesticides. Here they are:

Dirty Dozen (Buy These Organic)
celery
peaches
strawberries
apples
blueberries
nectarines
bell peppers
spinach
kale
cherries
potatoes
imported grapes

Clean 15 (lowest in pesticides)
onions
avocado
sweet corn
pineapple
mangos
sweet peas
asparagus
kiwi
cabbage
eggplant
cantaloupe
watermelon
grapefruit
sweet potato
honeydew melon

This is great information to have - not only for buying for our homes, but for gardeners to grow!!

Thought I'd pass it on!!

Thanks for sharing that! One thing that you should always buy organic also (even though it's on the "clean" list) is corn. If it's not organic, you can bet your bottom dollar that it's GMO.
