I will be a sleep well before the best time to watch comes, but, I will be awake before they stop their show at around 4:30, so I might just go out a little early, so I can watch for a time...there's something magical about "Falling Stars"***

Maybe we will be lucky and find one that didn't burn out. My dad found one on his farm and sold it to a California college for research. They are quite a find and fetch a big price. :+)

I saw 2 in a 20 minute period and went back to bed. I'm on the Front Range of the Rockies, where John Denver saw "fire in the sky" while watching a meteor shower, but he was 'way up in the high country. Down here on the edge of the prairie there are too many lights to drown out the fainter ones. At least I got up, oh well.

The morning breeze has secrets to tell you. Do not go back to sleep.

I was wondering if you'd be able to see some tonight also? This would be the better time for us to view the sky late at night since we could sleep in tomorrow and not have to worry about work. I checked early last night (11:00ish) but didn't see any then.

We were actually able to see the space station pass over us on Friday night. We do have a great telescope but this you could see even without it!

It so happened that I was driving home from the airport early early in the morning on the 14th and got to see the Perseids. It was a nice change from the dark country drive at 3am. I may have made a wish or two.

Where is the space station visible from?
