Just wanted to let you all know that if you are anywhere near Torch, Ohio on August 26th at 2:00 p.m., there will be an auction of 700 bolts of fabric and an entire store of notions and related sewing stuff. I know I should be keeping this information to myself...but I just had to share. Need to start hoarding my egg money! Debbie

Thanks for the info. Torch is around 2 hrs from me. Too bad it's an afternoon auction though. I wouldn't be able to be there and here for the kids to get off the bus. Bid well and think of me when you win.

I'm far from Ohio, but it sounds like fun.
Watch out though, auctions can get crazy high sometimes.
Depending on the bidders, it can get to a place where the best price doesn't even matter anymore, it's about who gets the winning bid, no matter what price!

I don't know if any of you were at this auction, so here's what I got....
2 - 26 yard bolts of "cheater" fabric panels(1 purples and pinks & 1 pastel Indian print) 200 spools of white thread 500 felt squares in all colors 100 yards of waistband elastic - 50 white & 50 black 50 yards of multicolored lace trim 100 = 12 x 12 beige cotton squares serged all the way around and 200 12 x 12 lace panels & 1000 yards of 2 inch wide white muslin fabric rolled on a spool.
all of this for $36.00.....that's right...$36.00....
