I received blocks from Ruth. And....She enclosed photos!!! Its nice to meet you Ruth.
OMG! I love your block. I have never seen that pattern before. Ladies, you are all going to love it too.
I had also received Debbies blocks earlier in the week. I don't know why I did't post it sooner.
If what I have received so far is any indication of what the other blocks are going to be, we are going to have one nice looking quilt top when all is put together.

That is true, the blocks are not due till October 1st.
But of course, if we get them all in earlier, I can send them back earlier.

Mine are still in progress. I havent been able to get back to them for a week~ but I have Monday off from work so am really looking forward to having a "me" day for camping out in my sewing room.

Oh my! My day in the sewing room was interrupted, while it was a wonderful interruption I'm still a little frustrated. My daughter and granddaughter came and spent the day with me. Soooo no sewing. I work really well under pressure though, so now this is it I'm running out of time. By Saturday they will be done if I have to go into my sewing room and lock the door behind me.

had to make two runs to the fabric store for more. Can't wait to see everyones creation.

Hello ladies.....
We took a vacation at Disney Florida last week. I just got home yesterday. I am playing catch up today. If you emailed or asked for my address and I have not sent it, I apoligize. The "high speed" internet access in the hotel room was more like "slow speed soup cans and string".
I will be sorting out my snail mail this afternoon and will post who has sent me blocks.
I believe I said the due date was the end of September? We still have a few more days.
Those of you who have not yet sent out your blocks please let me know how you are doing.
If you are not going to be able to finish on time I need to know please. If you are not going to be able to finish at all, I need to know so I can make additional blocks.
I would truly love for everyone to receive blocks for everyone else.
I will be attending the "Sewing and Quilt Expo" in Chantilly VA from September 30 till October 2nd. I just purchased the Floriani Embroidery Suite Pro program and I hope to be able to take a three hour class in Chantilly. I just hope it is not full.

Hi Kathy, I am just about an hours worth of work away from being finished. I worked on them last night and plan on finishing tonight, after I get home from work. I know I have said before that I would be done, but life keeps popping up in my sewing room, if you know what I mean and being gone from home 10+ hours a day is a bit of a distraction... but I'm going to make it!! Yay!! I'm very driven to meet my committments, so I wont let the ladies down. If you can email me your address that would be great. I'm happy for you and your family that you got to have a vacation, how fun!!
