Thanks Lisa!
And Debbie too...Yea!
Now we have 12. I am closing the swap.

Remember ladies, these are Autumn theme not halloween. So lets all get sewing. You each need to make 12 blocks. When they are complete let me know and I will send you my address via email. You will then send me 11 blocks and some return postage. I have plenty of envelopes. So no need to send an extra one.

Thank you all for joining.

Ok ladies. To make getting your blocks done a little sooner, I will give each of you that have your blocks to me before September 10th a little surprise gift. It’s nothing too big or too fancy. But I have been told they are rather nice. It takes me about 30 minutes to make one. I have already given a few away to some of the ladies here at the office. They say they love them.

I think it would be nice to send a picture of our selves with our blocks so we can see who made them for us. Toni, Ruth and I already have each others pictures from another swap and it's so nice to put a face to a name. I will be sending a picture for each of you and hope you will do the same. I have a wonderful album with my beautiful MJF sisters for my pleasure to look at and pray for. Hoping you think this is something you would like to do.

Hugs and Blessings,

Darlene, I like that idea - we'll see what everyone else thinks.
Well I guess I'd better get to sewing!

Darlene! That is amazing I was thinking along the same lines on my way home from work today. I was thinking of how I would love to know who made each block! I love your idea! I'm in!

I have my fabric and block design picked out... now just need to get to cutting.

Darlene,
That would be a nice idea. But lets just leave it up to each individual. Some of us may not have the ability to print out or have copies made. But then again there are some of us that have more computer technology in our homes then we know what to do with.
So If you have photos or prints of yourself you would like to share send them along with your blocks and I will swap them out. Or, if you send me an email with a photo attached, I will gladly print them out and include them with the blocks when they are swapped.

Our little swap group is buzzing along here. I like that. Thanks for the great idea Darlene!

Happy Friday! It looks like it is going to be a nice weekend for me. How about everyone else? School will be starting soon in NJ. I like seeing all the kids waiting for the bus in the mornings. That just tells me soon it will be Autumn. I think that is the season I love most. Its not too cold or too hot. The colors of the trees and the freshness of the wind kind of brings a little pep in my walk. (and walking is something I need to start doing more of)
Well, have a great weekend everyone. Start working on your blocks. My fabric is washed and ironed. Let us all know how you are progressing.

Good morning Kathy and ladies, yes Happy Friday to you too! Yes, my weekend is going to be fabulous! Our weather is goind to be a sunny and cool 70 or so. Fall and Spring are my favorite seasons...Something about the crisp fall air is just so wonderful. I have my fingers crossed though that our tomatoes will mature before the night frost hits. We've had strange weather here. I have most of my fabric cut out and ready to start sewing tonight. I'm loving this project...Talk to you all later

Shirley, I emailed you...

I received blocks from Diana. Thank you. You did a wonderful job. I truly love the block you chose.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ.

The question of signing your blocks was asked. Please do not sign the front of your blocks. These are not signature blocks. But you can put a label on the back or sign within the seam allowance.

Happy Monday!
It was a wonderful weekend in NJ. I had the AC off on Saturday. Nice fresh air in the house. I did a lot of outside work. It was nice.
My blocks are finished.
