Hi Ladies!
Since Kate is off on her new married adventures, she has passed the list on to me. Since there haven't been a lot of additions lately, I thought I'd email an updated list every couple of months. How about I get one out this week?
And, of course, if you would like to be added to the list as a new participant, I'll just need your mailing address and Farmgirl Connection screen name sent via email to me or mailart@maryjanesfarm.org. Happy mailing!

I got the list and am ready to do MA! 
I send to the person right above me, correct? That would be beemoosie. Then I send to whoever, whenever? That's the part that confused me. I'm working on reading through all 68 pages of the MA topic, but that will take me a while! BIG

My thought was that if we compiled a list of snail mail addresses, each person on the list could send one piece of mail to the next name on the list. The last person would, of course, go to the first person on the list. One mailing would be the minimum, but for all who are very energetic, it would be fine to send out as many pieces as you would like. I would think that after the first round, we could let it go rather free form and see how this works.

This was posted on page one way back when!!!! ok, may 2005, but it says we send to the person AFter us, and if you are the last person on the list send to the first (You probably just read that!) So I was expecting to send to YOU, Vanessa! LOL! Maybe someone else can help us out here!

In MA II updates the first post from July 2005 (!!!) said to go to the one ahead of you. Maybe we should just send to the ones above AND below.

What makes you think that? It is much less daunting for everyone to send a fabulous piece of mailart to the farmgirl before them on the list. In fact, when I send the updated list next month, I think I'll suggest each person just send along a mail treat to the person before them on the list! These things are always done best with new input and suggestions!

So when the next list goes out, will it be in a different order so that Bonnie does not always get "stuck" with my so called art? My talent lies in theatre and music (voice), so this whole visual art thing is really stretching my creativity. Not a bad thing, mind you.

OH MY! It's been months since I've been a visitor here and months since I've had a "mailbox happy", but I had one yesterday! A sweet postcard from PLUMJOY! Thanks aplenty - your paper choices were so nice, Joy and the sentiment,"wonderful friends together" certainly true of the farmgirls here. I have few days off now, so look out - those above and below me. Thank you Meg for the updated list, some old friends still there and new ones to get to know. I'm looking forward to it once again.

Thanks Kim. How fun to receive new mail! So...what do ya'll think? Shall I send a new list with a scrambled order, so that we might send the farmgirl before us on the list a fabulous piece of mailart? Then, scramble the list each month so we send to a new farmgirl each month? This is less daunting, to just send to one farmgirl each month. Or do ya'll prefer to send as you please? Either way works for me...suggestions?
