That would be lovely Jo
I have a nice teacup that was given to me by a client,(I am a retired labor doula)I am pretty sure they are yellow roses but I will go pull it out and check. My email is different now, I have to change the profile. admin@sundariyoga.com
Looking forward to your email.

PS. That is a great idea to start another forum for my daughter Maya. I will give it a shot.

OK - I've sent you a picture of the cups at your email address shows above...from my email address at yahoo.com.

Let me know if you need help starting another forum. You could cut and paste your original post about the tea party and start with that...

Kathy Enchanted:

You are correct! Robert Frost was also the author of the other poem I cited -- and that poem is 'Birches' -- if anyone is interested, look it up on a google search -- one of my all time fav poems.

So, Kathy (I'm a Kathy, too), I'll email you my address and you can email yours. We exchange cups and saucers and then you post the next quotation for someone else. And on we go -- what fun this is.

Teddie -- Thanks so much! Package arrived late yesterday . . . love the black-on-white teacup & the teas, one of which I'm brewing this a.m. The sewing things will be added to my stash; I'll be using some of the buttons this week on a card collage I'm planning. Thanks again!

Kathy,
Glad you enjoyed the goodies. I would have never thought about using the buttons in a collage. I'm so glad they will be used instead of sitting here in a jar. I have sevral jars of odds and end buttons but never know what to do with them.
Jo,
You do OR too? What talent! Sounds exciting. I'm looking forward to the pattern. I'm thinking about making a vest. I'll let you know.

Thanks, It's been lots of fun getting to know some of my 'farmsisters' better.

Tina,
I am so glad you did!! The candy is what they use over here to sweeten the tea or eat with their tea. It is made from sugar cane. When you go to someone's home they serve tea and then a dish of that on the side along with some other small candy type items. I do not know the name, but wanted you to be able to try it. If you really like it I can send you more!! And that magazine is one of my favorites! Always full of wonderful pictures, neat recipes, and ideas. I really hope you enjoy it!! And yes their pottery ones are on the unique side, but they do use them often over here. They serve it to you with the lid on on the little saucer. If you would rather have a regular cup now that you see it plaese let me know I will be happy to get you one! Hope you enjoy!
Hugz!!

Hi Talitha,
Oh no! I like the Japanese pottery one very much...I was really impressed with it..it has a little lid to keep te heat in when I steep a cup of tea. very neat!So yes, I really like it alot.I was hoping for something different than the usual victorain looking tea cup..and that one certainly is nice... I love the magazine too. Haven't sat down and really looked at it yet though, just flipped through the recipes and showed my husband and kids what I had gotten from Japan..my daughter and I had a ball straightening out all the advertisement papers from there that you used to wrap everything..we got a kick out of how many were for diet programs and casinos..haha.
I thought the candy had a familiar taste but I couldn't quite place it..
I will have to brew some tea tomorrow and drop a piece of the candy in it.And of course..anytime you want to share candy..haha..I won't pass up candy..LOL
This has been loads of fun.Just one of the small bonuses of being part of such a wonderful group of gals.

Tina,
It's a deal then! Next time I buy some I will send you more! LOL about the paper... I did not even look at it! They are BIG on healthy eating and diet suppliments here but diets?!? lol they are all so TINY here I do not know WHO would buy them!! And casinos....oh my they are EVERYWHERE here!!! So that does not surprize me at all!!!! I am so happy that you like the cup and hope the magazine brings some joy to your life too!!
As Always,
Hugz!!!

Kathy,
My new tea cup and creamer arrived today. It's very pretty. The tea is a brand I've not seen. I think I'll wait until it's cooler to try it though. July is too hot for hot tea. Thanks for recycling the foam packing. I'll use it again I'm sure. My sweet DH is a computer "geek" and we always save that type of packing to re use.

Thanks again, Teddie

Glad you got the cup/saucer and other items safely. You're right about waiting with the tea! Although I do drink hot tea every morning, even when it's already 80 degrees at 6 a.m. Am using another piece of the foam packing for my next box. . . I love to reuse, and this stuff is great.

Thanks for a sweet trade.

Rebecca,

At last, your teacup is on the way via Priority Mail today. I did not forget you, and finally chose the perfect cup and saucer to commemmorate the birth of your baby boy last month. I thought the baby blue on white floral design was perfect. It's from a family collection passed down from my mother to me. Ironically, our family is chock-ful of girl-babies for four generations running, so I got a little chuckle out of this as well.

There's also a little something for Nathaneal and treats for your other children.

Again, my apologies for taking so long, I am usually quite prompt with these things - just could not get the right cup and saucer to "speak" to me. I really hope you like it.

I just want to check in to let Kathy know I received her every so lovely package and it cheered me up soooo much! I have not forgotten you Kathy and will have your package out shortly. I have fallen to the wayside and am living between two houses and going to be getting a divorce so please bear with me.
One of the girls contacted me and has not received her teacup and saucer exchange - can you all check to see if you have not sent out the package you were supposed to? I know it is hard to keep up, you are looking at the queen of procrastination.
I know I have to post a question and will be doing that in the next couple of days so please all be patient and keep me in your thoughts and prayers
Nancy Jo how are you? Georgann I owe you a long letter - Ms. Soap Maven are you getting enough rest and how are you feeling?

Whew, I felt the spotlight bearing down on ME when I first read about the missing cup and saucer but, I'm clean on this one! I was VERY late getting my cup and saucer out to _Rebecca_, but it finally went out to her last week. (Rebecca, hopefuly you did receive it?)

Kathy, hang in there - glad to see you back in the posts...hopefully you are not going throuhg too much turmoil right now...stay strong and healthy.

Kathy Enchanted -- So glad you received the package and that it gave you some cheer. I read on your blog that you love roses; that's why I chose the rose paper and rose cup/saucer . . . . take a deep breath and have a cup of tea. Send mine when you can -- don't stress -- I can be very patient.
