So, my hubby and I are expecting our first child in January 2011! Not planned, but, what can you do?!?! :) I'm still trying to realize what's going on in my body, but, my first tri is almost over. I didn't know until I was 8.5 weeks! (I have a VERY irregular cycle)

Anywho, if you visit my blog, the ultrasound is on there with a heartbeat and everything!

Congratulations!!! How exciting! I watched the video. It brought back lots of good memories. And I am so glad you found some good cottage cheese! With my first I craved black olives. The 2nd was hot fudge cake from Shoney's. I loved being pregnant.

Congats Girl! I know about the period thing. With my third I didn't know until I was about 18 weeks. My DH and I was talkin about my sisters problems concieving and he suddenly asked me when the last time I bought pads was. I couldn't remember and neither could he. We were off to the store for a preggy test, and I was! It happens to all of us. Enjoy your surprise blessing!

Thank you ladies! LOL! Isn't it funny how our bodies can deceive us? I mean, I've been on BC since like, 8th grade for irregular and heavy periods-never fixed it. Oh well! I'm hoping they can tell the sex soon (17-20 weeks) I'm hoping in the 17 week range. We'll see!

Congrats Megan!
I've leared just this week that the IVF prcedure we saved and prayed for was a success and likely twins! I'm 35 and have only been around animals (worked for vets, have a bachlor's in animal science and master's in wildlife ecology, live on a farm, etc) but I have NO, zilch, zero experience with human babies so I'm desperately soaking up all the info I can get! I'm hoping for advice from like minded farmgirl sisters!

Hard to believe! It really does go by so quickly, so make a journal, something, that you can always look back on. Each little murmur, each little yawn--all so precious and fleeting. Watching Violet, now 2 and 3 months say things like, "Lut mommy, it a monster!" and "Is anybody in heauh?" looking in the closet makes me realize how precious each and every day is. It flies!!!

She's saying that at 2 or 3 months? My 4 month old still only babbles. LOL-do you mean years? ;)
