I am new to this and would love to have a pen pal. I LOVE anything vintage and retro. I also enjoy high adventure activities such as kayaking, white water rafting, camping, hiking, etc. I am really excited!!!

Not sure how this works but I would love to have a pen pal...I can write up to 2 people...and my letters are usually no less than 3 pages hand written, my writing is a bit small...

Tammy, yes I did get your letter. Thank you so much. Can't wait to write you back - have been super busy of late, so my letters to everybody have been put on hold for a little bit. I'm hoping I can busy at this later this week and get them all out by weekend. So not to worry dear farmgirl - you will be getting a letter soon. Again, I'm sorry for the delay. Sometimes "circumstances" interfer with what we would rather be doing - which is my letter writing!!!!!!
Did anybody else see the report on CBS news tonight about the lost art of sending out thank you notes? I thought it was great. I'm one of those who always sends out thank you notes whenever I receive anything and have taught my kids to do the same. |

| Amanda I hope that your daughter will get a penpal. I remember as a kid having a few international ones, this was way back when there would be adds in kids magazines of wanting penpals. I had one from the USSR before they collapsed. The last letter I got from her was almost completely blacked out from their government. I don't even know if they do this anymore, since using the internet is go much faster (also dangerous though). But who can resist the surprise of getting a letter in the mail? |

Annie, got your letter today and DH and I were just going WOW at the pic's of the snow at your place. Thanks for sharing - I think! Won't complain again about the weather out here - so much better than you guys on the east coast. Hope you're dug out from this last one.
Hang in there - spring will be here in a couple of months.
