Just to let you know, my jam is made with organic strawberries, organic sugar, and is low-sugar recipe, not no sugar recipe. It's really good. I also use the small 4 oz jelly jars.

I would love to sign up or a jam jelly swap. I am about to make jelly this weekend maybe two kinds if my herbs are ready. I am dying to make some herbed jellies and my husband just showed me a gorgeous sand plum patch. Please sign me up for 2 people. This is going to be fun.

Merry that sounds fabulous. I was thinking of maybe a Lemon balm jelly but I have lemon thyme growing too and it is looking great. I also have several jalapenos and was thinking of making Jalapeno jelly. I have never tried moscato wine what is it like?

Lemon balm would make an awesome jelly!
Moscato is a light sweet white wine, the jelly will taste like liquid honey sunshine! I also made Thai basil, jalepeno, hot pepper, sage-apple and several herb tea jellies this summer. I have to tell you, I was very happy they all turned out as they were all experiments! I also made oregano blossom jelly, but next year I will use more blossoms, the flavor was very faint. Let me know how your jellies turn out!

I cooked the sand plums lastnight and let the juice drain so it is all ready for Jelly making. I am off to clean the jars and make some Sand Plum Jelly.
What do you think of Jalapeno Mint Jelly? I am not sure of the flavor combo. Also my mint isn't regular mint I had to get chocolate mint a few years ago and it smells just like peppermint patties so not sure how the chocolate notes will work with the jalapenos. I do have some applemint growing but I planted it this year and it isn't very big yet.
I am planning on making Lemon Balm Jelly and now thinking of the moscato and lemon thyme jelly.

Just make the chocolate mint as a jelly by itself, that would yum! Jalapeno chive? Or maybe jalapeno cilantro?

I picked up some Moscato wine yesterday and I also picked 2 buckets of pears so I am off to peel and dice pears. I scoured all my recipe books and I am itching to make cranberry pear jelly, spiced pear jam, Peach ammaretto jelly, moscato and lemon thyme jelly, lemonbalm jelly, and chocolate mint jelly. I am also thinking of the jalapeno and cilantro jelly. That sounds yummy on cream cheese and crackers.
I like strawberry jam too. It is heavenly on ice cream.
