                      | I have alot of challenge to catch up on. Is quite hard sometimes on weekdays for me. I work from 7:30am-6pm (monday-friday). I don't get home by 6ish. But it is a good challenge each day to keep me motivated. Definitely have to come back often to see the tasks in hand. |

                      | Sounds like a lot of us work some long hours. I work four 10 hour days in the summer, so will try to catch up over the weekend. I'm beat when I get home. I do dinner and some garden work and then go to bed. Suzanne |

                      | I got the laundry cupboards and shelves done. I am almost done with the underneath of the sinks. I'll finish them and clean the doors and switches tomorrow. I can't really clean the door jams in this house. They are rough cut wood. We are plannin to take the trim down and sand and restain them this winter. I could use a plastic bristled scrub brush and scrub it down. I might just do that and to the overhead beams too. There is cobwebs stuck in them everywhere. I hate it.

                      | Angela- I used to clean a house that had trim like that- it was a nightmare. I don't blame you for wanting to get it sanded down! I would try using your vaccum with the little brush attachment on it-the one you can use on drapes while they are hanging. If you don't have one, if you have a vaccum repair shop in your town (sometimes they are paired with sewing machine repair) they often give them away free or very cheap.

                      | Hi Ladies!!
Now that the Holidays are over, time to get back to our Challenges!! Today is Fridge Cleaning Day! Clean out the fridge. Wipe off all surfaces including all the walls and ceiling since mold spores will cover every surface (even if you can't see them). Don't forget to wipe down the gasket the seals the door shut. Wipe the fingerprints off the front of the door. Don't forget to wipe down the very top (outside) if you have access to it!!

                      | The Fridge is a good one. Even though I try and keep the "science projects" cleaned out on a regular basis, I swear, they multiply back there behind everything else!
 Smiles!

                      | How funny! I had announced this morning that it was fridge day and the girls were scramblin to make sure they didn't have any open candy in the fridge. I am ruthless when I clean out the fridge. Only the leftovers from last night get left in there. I just logged on after the first sweep through the fridge and was gonna check for our new challenge before goin back to scrub the shelves. LOL! Great minds think alike!

                      | I decided to clean out and organize my freezer on my fridge and the upright one in the laundry room. I figured I'd get them all done in one day. I was astounded! I found 7 packs of hotdogs, a small ham, 5 packs of lunchmeat, 3 whole chickens, 2 roasts, and 6 packs of cut up chicken I didn't know I had! After pullin all the empty boxes from the ice cream and boxes of nearly empty things out I found all the meat stuffed behind it. I guess the girls shouldn't be allowed to put away the groceries unsupervised anymore.I now have enough meat for probably 6 weeks worth of meals or more! I had to redo my shopping list. Thank goodness it was for me to go on friday! I have a shelf for my frozen made ahead meals and one for my loaves of bread now. I also have a very short shelf holding 11 bags of white chocolate chips and a bar of 100% bakin cocoa. I don't even like white chocolate! I remember buying the baking cocoa, but not what I bought it for. I need to redo my menus for the next couple of weeks thanks to my cleaning finds!

                      | I like this challenge! I've been needin to sort my spice and herb shelf. I couldn't find the sea salt the other night. I am gonna finish labelin the shelves too. That way maybe things will be put up right from now on.

                      | My cabinets are clean and rearranged. My Hubby is gonna be so lost in that kitchen for awhile. I guess I didn't lose the salt. We're out and no one told me or put it on the list. I'm also out of a few other spices. Time to update the shoppin list! These kitchen challenges are really great. I am gonna save money not havin to buy what I can't find and bein able to find what I need. I love this!
