Our first born was a boy and he liked the name Van, but with the last name Austin it looked like just a Dutch last name
Oh How funny there is a man in town with the name Van Austin ! It's an unusual name who would think there was someone else with the name Susan |

I know what you mean, DH and I had a very hard time picking one of each this time around. Personally I think we go through pregnancy and labour, we should get to name the little person
There's:
Emma Sophie Mae Juliana Jennifer Mary-Ann
I know it's hard you want to find something that's perfect for them but also one that won't be horrible when they're adults.

Okay ladies, now we are thinking...and hubby is pretty on board with this too...Charlotte Louise. Hubby is a twin and he and his brother both have the same middle name. He said they always hated having the same name, like they weren't individuals...so he vetoed Anne (which is also our first daughter's middle name and mine and my mother's which is why I was thinking we should give it to Charlotte too). But Louise is my grandmother Helen's middle name. Since hubby won't let me use Helen in any form (as a first or middle name) I tested Louise on him and he seemed to think Charlotte Louise was ok. My grandmother gave her youngest daughter, my aunt, Louise as a middle name and my aunt gave it to her youngest, who is still in college. So it seems fitting to give it to my youngest. What do you ladies think? The other option in Lynn after the hubby's step-grandma. She is the nicest lady in his family but we both think Charlotte Lynn is a little choppy sounding. I don't know...

Well, we're getting down to the wire and we've decided...Charlotte Louise Bailey. We'll call her Charlie for short. Now that we've got a name all ready, I'm ready to get her out here! Only about 5 weeks left but Doc thinks she is pretty big and that she would like to induce me early...so maybe even less time than that! Wish me luck!

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!! |
