Hey ladies..I'm feeling down and need some advice. For those of you who have had fertility issues how did you 'forget' about trying? My husband and I have been trying for 2 years for our second and nothing...not even a miscarriage. I'm really starting to feel down in the dumps because I want another little one so bad. My husband is a diabetic and has been for 19 years so after the 1 year mark we had him tested and all was fine. I had had issues with low progesterone so I was not ovulating and doc had me on clomid. Now my body has been working like normal again for the last 1 1/2 years. I have been told to just not worry but that is so hard to do . My baby boy is getting so big; these 3 years have just flown by.

So how did some of you 'forget'? I'm really worried that it'll never happen and that just breaks my heart. I'm contemplating getting rid of Scotty's baby items to see if that'll help to 'forget'/let go.

Exercise helped with my last one. Try a new routine.

My aunt talks of a couple that were struggling til they went on a weekend trip. Maybe getting away from it all would help.

Christy's suggestion of exercise is a good one, its a great way to reduce stress. But on another note, A friend of mine had given up on another child when she started yoga. It has been known to get the whole body and lifestyle more relaxed and balanced. She had two more children after that! I'm not prescribing it, but it sure can't hurt!

I hear you. Trying not to worry is really hard, especially when it's something so dear to our hearts.
The only advice i could really offer is just to pour your energy into the son you already have..
I was going through an extremely stressful time when my boys were tiny . (Their dad had an affair and left when they were 6 months and 1.5 years old), and the one thing that bothers me to this day is that I wasn't able to fully enjoy them because I was so extremely stressed out. I feel like I really missed out on a lot of really happy moments because I was just worrying about other things.

That was a long time ago now, and I'm re-married to a fantastic man who's taken them as his own. We'd like to have another, but i just had a miscarriage a couple of months ago, so i'm not sure how this is going to go. We'll see. But for the time being, I'm doing my best not to stress about it and just enjoy my little guys while I can. It IS crazy how fast they grow.

Drink a lot of water to make sure you mucas is thin enough to let the "guys" through...and I have heard Mucinex helps with that aspect too...

But other wise I would just enjoy being with the guy you love! *hugs* We had some struggles too and Nora was a complete surprise when she did happen.

I hope your suprise happens soon!

We moved. We had been trying for years and the company decided to move us. We got busy building a house and re-started the adoption process etc. An wa-la we had my oldest Daughter. Then we couldn't seem to turn it off. We have three girls 25, 22 and 21. That move to Alaska did the trick.

It's common for it to take 2-3 yrs to get pregnant nowadays! Acupuncture and Chinese herbs can work wonders. How about getting one of those Clearblue Easy fertility monitors that tells you when fertility is high and then peak? It's more exact than just using the sticks that tell you 24 hrs before ovulation, and you get more chances to try with better timing.
Stress soooooo hard on conception. I see you have gotten some great advice already. Prayer can work wonders to reduce stress and help us accept the timing of things when we would rather not! Our emotions can actually tell the body that something is wrong when nothing is wrong- so try to find a way to tell yourself that everything is perfect, and that a new baby will come at the perfect time.
Feeling doubt is normal. Love heals all- so treat yourself lovingly as you wait for that happy day when your good news comes.
