...I've lost ten pounds since I was sick and I haven't gained back any of it. Food still tastes a little funny but I think that's because I'm on an anti-biotic. I've even been "forcing" myself to eat out LOL cause I eat more that way. I'm supposed to go back to the dr. tomorrow so I'll see what he has to say. so I'm glad I lost some weight, but I don't recommend it to anyone else. It wasn't fun when all I could eat was popsicles. I hope you feel better soon Cindy. No, not a good way to lose weight. I bet you won't be eating popsicles any time soon!

Cindy, so sorry to see you have been so sick. That's the only way I'll ever lose weight I think. But don't really want to get sick to do it. I hope you are back to narmal soon.

Thanks, ya'll ladies! I did fix a quiche tonight that I made with broccoli from a roadside stand and it was good. And you're right, I don't want to see another popsicle anytime soon! ice cream, yes, they gave me pudding and ice cream when i was in the hospital. I hope the dr. lets me return to work soon.

Good news! I got to go back to work today! I felt kind of wiped out before the day was halfway through but then seemed to get my second wind. I've been eating like I was famished. I really appreciate your thoughts and prayers during this time--it's not fun being sick, even though one of my co-workers asked me if I was "bummed" about returning to work. I told her no way. I don't understand why some people see work as a bad thing--I get all antsy when I can't work. And if it pays the bills, it can't be bad...
