I am a transplanted eastern Iowa farmgirl, Cresco is my hometown. Currently call Montana home, but if I were there I'd love to join you! So I guess I'll just read about the fun times on this chat!quote:

Hey Elizabeth just wondering how to do the email list ? I would be glad to put one together. Wasn't sure what the FG connections guidelines were on this one...can we just post them here ?

Well, I have bad news.
That is the same weekend as the Manchester Dairy Show in Manchester, IA.
The girsl (cows / hiefers) have to be delivered on Saturday for a Sunday show.
We never have Sunday shows, but this year .. Tah dah they have a Sunday show.
I was even planning on taking Friday off from work to get to IA earlier so I could play in Kalona.
So sorry to miss this special day.
Hope you all have a great time. Take photos and put them here so we can enjoy them.
Hopefully next time.

Ok,ladies...it is countdown week !!! Today is Monday and I am really looking forward to this "historic" event. :) I will be at the Kalona Bakery about an hour before the rest of you to set up tables,etc. I will be the one with the big smile and rolled bandana "necklace" wildly waving my coffee in the air while singing the Iowa State theme song..all of you DO know the Iowa State theme song,right? ;)
Hope I can get all of my at-home stuff done this week along with the guitar teaching.Call or email me with questions.
