As of today, I am no longer a parent of a teenager: my youngest daughter is twenty today. She had to work today so we'll celebrate tomorrow. No prayers of concern, just prayer of joy.

It's just another chapter in your life now. This does happen and all too fast it seems. I hope she has a wonderful day.

I will go through the no longer and just becoming version of this three times, as my girls are so spaced out. I am lookin forward to the little break between each session, but I am not lookin forward to my girls growin up.

I was telling a friend my daughter enters highschool next year and I can almost see the "finish line". She smiled and said "Honey I hate to tell you this but there aint no finish line."

Congrads you made it through the teens! Now on to the twenties and young adult years. I am almost through the twenties with my oldest who is 29. But my baby just hit 22. From the early 20's to the later ones they change so much. I wonder what the 30's will bring?

My other two daughters are 25 and almost 23. Yes, I agree there really is no finish line for parents or at least not until we die or if we become the one taken care of.
