So we had a hard frost last week, everything made it through fine except the potatoes- the leaves all got frostbit. My standby garden book says that there should be enough energy in the underground parts to get them through but does not say whether I need to trim the dead leaves - does anyone know?
Everything else was fine, potatoes, peas, onions, etc. This was the first year my potatoes came up looking perfect too:( Oh well....

My dad says to leave them alone and they will come out of it or die completely. He says it happens to him every couple of years and he's only lost enough to gripe about, never enough to worry about. I hope yours works out like his always has.
