It is that wonderful time of year! We are outside enjoying the sun and family and planting and having a blast.... Next thing you know, at supper time we look as if we were to close when we set off that blast! It seems that Dirt makes a great sunblock, but only when evenly applied!
So my question for you wise women is, do you have a remedy for light sunburns?
My pudgy 2 yr old is the funniest just the tops of his pudges are pink, but my hands are the strangest, pink from wrists knuckles. Who thinks of sun block when it is just 50 degrees and you are still wearing long sleeves. I hope I do next spring!

Aloe gel is the best. My mother always used vinegar. You smell pickled but it takes away the sting.

I always used apple cider vinegar for a light sunburn. It stinks but sure cools the burn. Aloe is great too.
