Well, we are going to be moving halfway across the country and so our chickens and our bees are going to have to find new homes. Kind of sad. We'll start again new at our new place, but especially my daughter is attached to some of the individual chickens (I kinda like them too) ah well. At least we'll bring our dog and cats and bunny.

Awww, that's tough. Hope you find some good owners for them. MB

Oh no! I am so sorry- any reason why the chickens can't go in a dog crate for the drive?

I'm glad you are taking the cat and dog. Happy moving to you.

Maybe 1 or 2 of your daughter's favorite chickens could go with....in a small crate. I hope the move goes smoothly for you. Good Luck and God Bless!

The move will be good for our family, but as far as taking a few chickens with us--it's also a situation of not having a place for them right away--we will be placing an order pretty quickly for more chicks--

it wouldnt take much to make a small run and use a dog house or something for the house just so you can take your favorites.

That's too bad, I know it will be hard especially for your daughter. Good Luck in finding a good home for them.

Some friends at church will take the hens and "King" the awesome rooster, but nobody yet wants the bantams. They are good layers too, just smaller eggs.
