I went to the Farmer's market this morning and found all kinds of good things. But the best thing was the last bunch of RHUBARB! Yea, me! I am so happy. I have never had any before but have several recipes to try.

I sat and spun and incredible roving from some of my sweet animals - Spun for over 6 hours - pure bliss.

I also spent time shearing to of my Cashmere girls - they placed their heads on my lap as I slow clipped their fleece. I spoke softly of all the joy they bring me and what wonderful plans I have for their heavenly fibers. Then I snuggled with all three of my Great Pry's and thanked them for their watching over the farm, the animals and myself - such angels they are.

I had a wonderful day at the Funny Farm

I just got back from two days of painting at a customer's house. I painted hollyhocks on her outhouse and some blue delphiniums in her bathroom at her cottage on the lake. I still got it, but my RA is so bad that I take twice as long to finish as I used to. I am just thankful that I can still do it here and there. I really miss it. I used to do it full time as a living, but after being diagnosed with RA eight years ago I had to close my studio and shop. Now I just do it for a few clients. It really knocks me on my butt. The good thing is the talent that I was born with.

Sherry GD is 10 with 2 brothers 16 and 20. So you know she is just rotten! In a cute way, we all just love her. She's so much fun. Tomorrow I'm going out for lunch and some shopping with my DD and DG and DIL. We will have a blast. We all get along wonderfully. And I'm sure DG will spice up the day. If I get that video I'll be sure to post it.

Hugs, Brenda

I went to the farmers market and got some beautiful produce and yummy kettle corn straight from the kettle. Then I stopped at the pasture raised beef farm and bought two lovely roasts, some local milk and local yogurt. Then I came home and some neighbors helped me to give my basement a proper spring clean!!!

I went riding again today and it was great. Then we went to lunch and had a good time. Talked to all of my girls today, and that is great even though I really miss them. It is a beautiful day and now I am back out to the horses to feed.

Hubby brought the kids (3 and 10mo) to see me at work. Even though it's only 2 days a week that I do work, I get so excited every time they come to visit!

Went riding again. Really enjoyed the day. Fed watermelon to the horses and shared some with the one in the pasture next to us that get no attention what-so-ever. I think those little peaces of watermelon made his week.

It's my last Friday "off" until summer break with the kids. Love 'em dearly, but love the alone time to get things done, too! And I'm going to lunch with a couple of friends.
