Hi Ladies! I thought it would be really fun to do one random act of kindness each day and post here what it was. Weather it is making someone smile, or saying a prayer for someone you see and you don't even know them. Anyone in with me?!? Hugs!! Channah

Great idea Channah! Today I am buying a MJF gift subscription for one of hubby's admin. assistants so she'll stop stealing the one that I ordered for the other assistant LOL! I've been meaning to do that for about a week and I keep forgetting. So this is a good reminder and I will go order it now :)

Nice random act Siobhan! I am going to the co-op to buy some local produce...let's see if I can find a RAOK target there!

Channah, what a wonderful idea. I have 2 RAOK planned for today and that was before I looked at this post. I am making supper for my Mother-in-Law who just had surgery and I just put a suprise package in the mail for a farm girl. Hmmm, now I have to think of one for tomorrow.

Well, I am back from the co-op. I didn't find very many good targets there so I just said hello and smiled at everyone! It felt really good and most smiled back.

I just talked to my girlfriend who lost her step-son. I am taking all the plantable plants that they received and helping her make a memory garden. Last year we found an antique fence gate that we did not know what to do with. Now I know I am going to use it as a backdrop for the memory garden. It will be nice to have considering there will be no plot or headstone. They had him cremated and are sharing the ashes. I just think his brothers need a place to go and talk to him and remember.

I sent off 2 RAOK's through the mail this morning. And this afternoon, the kids knew I had planned to take them shopping for swimsuits, but I decided I would also let them pick out some summer outfits too.

I love this idea too, I called a friend who is going through a high risk pregnancy just to let her know I was thinking of her and praying for her and she was so happy I called.

I too love this idea. I'm also guilty of getting caught up in my own life. Some times just smiling and saying hello to someone goes a long way.

Well, I went to vote in the PA primary this AM and smiled and shook hands with a candidate that I can't tolerate - does that count!?!?!?
Ok - I'll keep working on another one for today!

I went to the goodwill this morning and found a throw pillow in like new condition in my mom's living room color. So I picked it up and took it to her. Started off good. Then we got into a fuss over this crazy house thing I'm going through. See now she wants to move back into the mobile home we are in and well her patienve level is not the greatest. And it seems like she wants me to move like RIGHT NOW! Oh well I started off good.
Caitie's band concert is tonight, maybe I can do a little something there.
